Building on the success and legacy of Rapture Pride Vancouver®, co-founded by Michel Nadeau, and which has donated $130,000 to various local non-profit organization, MN events was founded in 2011. Our goal is to establish MN events as a leader of special events in Vancouver. Noted for creativity, originality and inclusiveness throughout our community. We seek to bring people and charitable efforts together for the betterment of all.
At MN events our guests will gather to support local charities and be treated to an original live show with at least one performer of international calibre, such as a recording artist or a TV celebrity. 15% to 25% of ticket revenues will go directly to the beneficiary(ies).
MN events will operate with pride, dedication and professionalism while striving to make a difference in our community. See the MN events Mission Statement for more information.
WILDerness takes over Celebrities Nightclub on Thursday October 20, 2011, from 8pm to 11pm, with live performances by Eric Solomon "A.L.L. (You’ve got it all)” and “I Found Love”), Mackenzie Green (So You Think You Can Dance Canada 2010) and Jerome Mandrake (“West End Idol”, “Miss You Miss You”, “Paralyzed”). WILDerness is the media launch for WILD WEEKEND, with partial proceeds benefitting CAMP MOOMBA helping children affected by HIV and AIDS.
On Saturday November 19th, 2011, GUILTY PLEASURES becomes MN events’ new signature biannual event! From 8pm till 11pm, Club FiveSixty welcomes MN events and Prince Poppycock of America’s Got Talent 2010, with guest performer and choreographer Mackenzie Green. Additional performers soon to be announced. Partial proceeds from this concert fundraiser will benefit the following local charities: YouthCO AIDS Society, A Loving Spoonful, McLaren Housing Society, and 2 more charities to be confirmed.
